Cascadia Partners recently completed an analysis of four zones in the Sheridan, Wyoming Downtown Area. This project explored current limitations to housing options, including housing affordability.

Two commercial and two residential zones were analyzed for physical form and financial feasibility using ‘sensitivity testing’, a process where zone standards are tested in isolation and then cumulatively to understand each individual effects of potential policy changes.

Sensitivity testing allows us to decide which policy changes are most politically palatable but also have the most immediate effect toward reaching community goals and which changes can be addressed at a later date with more community input.
