Ayano Healy, Senior Associate
Ayano is a public health urban planner who brings an interdisciplinary approach when working on projects of all scales and settings. Her experience with upstream public health programs led her to urban planning with the desire to continue addressing the root cause of socioeconomic health disparities. Her work experience in public, private, and non-profit sectors has been driven by the pursuit of creating more effective and equitable systems that support healthier lives and communities.
Ayano specializes in developing and implementing culturally-responsive public engagement, facilitation, strategic communications, research design, and data analysis. She is a conscientious storyteller who enjoys translating technical jargon and research into compelling narratives and engaging activities.
Ayano holds a Master of Public Health from Oregon Health & Science University and a Master of Urban and Regional Planning along with a Graduate Certificate in Applied Social Demography from Portland State University. When she is not day-dreaming about ice cream and corny jokes, Ayano enjoys going on outdoor adventures and playing soccer with the NetRippers Football Club.
