Missoula Midtown Masterplan

Missoula MT | 2023

The Midtown Missoula Masterplan is a transformative framework that unites the community’s vision for its future.

The plan anticipates a potential Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project on its main corridor, Brooks Boulevard, and addresses broader needs for mobility, housing, parks, and economic development. Through extensive community engagement, many and diverse voices were heard, and a cohesive, forward-thinking plan was created and ultimately unanimously approved by City Council in 2023.

Key plan features include:

• A new central community hub, “Midtown Junction”
• A comprehensive bicycle network and park system
• Clear guidelines for land use, development, and connectivity

The Midtown Masterplan is now driving revitalization efforts and strategic real estate acquisitions, and shaping a bright Midtown future.
